Icing & ginger & sprinkles OH MY!

What an entertaining time gingerbread houses make!  Get in my belly!  I'm bigger than you, I'm higher in the food chain, get over here I'm gonna eat you!  And what a belly ache?!  Yep, I feel like if I get too close to the heater I am going to have one ginormous sugar cookie baked in my belly.  Why can I not resist eating the dough?  Going to be 3 major dough/sugar hangovers in the house come daylight.  But after weeks of mommy can we make the ginger house?  Mommy is it time to make the ginger house?  You remember?  The house?  With lots of sprinkles?  I finally made time with the kiddos and success has been brought to the newest gingerbread (house) village.  Although our village looks like the aftermath of a college party involving silly string, frisbee(s) and a possible kiddie pool, it was made with the utmost of effort & heart.  Sugar cookies baked & ready to decorate tomorrow, stomach already turning thinking about it (as I shove a candy cane in my mouth).  Holler out to Jonathan!  I don't remember the make and model of this candy cane but he was right, they are the bomb!  Thanks to our dish washing Clara, puddles of water on the counter & all, nothing but love!This blog was brought to you by sugar, Rolaids, kids, sugar, sprinkles, candies, icing, sugar and the letter M.Sami
