Up on the shelf top, who does pause????

All the families gathered and the meals were cooked, with Thanksgiving now under belt it is time elf magic is felt.  The day after Thanksgiving for my family is filled with tree picking, tree trimming and decor all around!  The sun has set, the lights all a glow it's time for a story we all know.  The elf on the shelf, ours is named Dingle, what a fantastic little spy for Mr. Kringle.  Rules need reminded, don't touch him it's tragic, forever he will sit, no flying, no magic.  With the story all read we can't wait to see, will it be the shelf or maybe the tree.  Off to bed, off to dream, with no ideas of Dingles future scheme! The morning is here and wouldn't you know, that silly little elf the flour is not snow!  The kids are filled with excitement to see you are back, what a naughty elf we found your flour tracks.  From spot to spot you are moving everyday, but getting into the paint I don't even know what to say.  Andrew and Clara were shocked, but tickled the same, to see red dots on their noses, Mr. Dingle shame shame.  You've been back to your old self, being good like you should, hanging out on different cabinets and sitting on shelves.  Alas to my dismay more havoc I see, oh Dingle you toilet papered our Christmas tree!  Calm days are back, it's good to see, I'm alright with you taking in a snack.  Next  day is here lets take a look, good to see you relaxing, taking in a book.So many days left to go and we can't wait to see, but please be nice when it comes to my tree.
