Why so serious?!

Sometimes we run across those clients that need a few extra moments, encouraging words to warm up and smile with ease.. some just have a trick to them.  High school senior Olivia was a little unsure at first, then I mentioned just keeping a relaxed/serious look and that was all it took, trick found!Olivia is beautiful inside and out and she loves life!  Asking someone like this to just relax and look at a simple object (leaf, rock etc) gives a very definite opposite effect!  Just the simple act of sitting somewhat somber, made this young lady in turn crack up at herself producing the most fun for me and amazing expressions/smiles for her!We happened upon a pretty bridge, amazing golden wheat field, large stand alone tree, some railroad tracks and the calm emptiness of a local college campus.  I won't mention which location was not my idea and which location may or may not have resulted in a possible poison on poor Olivia's face.. but she recovered with ease! I still wish she would have taken that dare to under dog her mom while on a swing on location, but understanding the actual feasibility of it working was lacking, I'll give her a pass. Two sessions and many proofs later (so many I was fearful of mom...) I walked away knowing a beautiful young lady who will be a great addition to adulthood after her senior year of high school!  Olivia just radiates a sweet, fun, caring, compassionate  (and I'm sure sometimes serious) young lady who will achieve anything she puts her mind too!Have a great Senior year, and many wishes of good luck in your future!Sami
